This September, our Toltec community will come together from all over the country to recommit ourselves to the creation of a new dream —the Dream of Heaven on Earth. During this time, we invite friends, family and other like-minded people to join us in holding a beautiful intent for the planet — an intent of unconditional love.
In the book Circle of Fire, don Miguel Ruiz inspires us to enter into a new and loving relationship with ourselves, with our fellow humans, and with all of creation. Through the work we prepare our minds for a new way of seeing life, and opening our hearts to find our way back to our birthright: heaven on earth. The result is a life lived in joy, harmony, and contentment.
The Circle of Fire ceremony serves as an affirmation of our commitment to finding our integrity by listening to our hearts and not the distortions of our minds. It is a spiritual circle based in love, respect and honest communication. Participating in the Circle of Fire, you will join a group intent for personal freedom and gain a network of mutual support. We once again open the Circle of Fire to old and new friends and recommit ourselves to living from a place of truth and service. It is an opportunity for Toltecs to meet each other and support each other in changing the way we dream.
The symbol of the Circle of Fire is the sword which we use to represent the integrity of our world. Just as King Arthur pulled the sword out of the stone, we strive toward authenticity by pulling our sword – our personal integrity – out of the Dream of the Planet, so we are free to live our personal dream.
Don Miguel explains that we begin by recognizing that we have been living a dream without awareness. Without awareness it is almost impossible to change our dream. With awareness we begin to question how we live our lives, and we begin to see what we want to change. So often we focus on making things around us change and we forget that things can only change if we change ourselves first.
The Circle of Fire is a celebration created by don Miguel to remind us that we are all artist. We create our life as our work of art. We can transform the story of our life at any time. Learn to use the love within to paint your masterpiece of art, your life.
“In my teachings, The Circle of Fire ceremony celebrates the most important day of our lives: the day: the day when we merge with the fire of our spirit, and return to our own divinity. This is the day when we recover the awareness of what we really are, and make the choice to live in communion with that force of creation we call Life or God.”
