Teotihuacan Power Journey
May 21, 2026 4:00 PM – May 25, 2026 10:00 AM
TEOTIHUACAN, MEXICO

Arriving at the Teo retreat with the Ruiz family was nothing short of the beauty of synchronicity at it’s finest. I knew walking in that I had old dreams to release and new agreements to be formed with life. This retreat was a beautiful opportunity to do just that. I am deeply grateful for the community of people who showed up ready to take responsibility for their lives and healing in such a beautiful way. I am grateful for the unique ways that Miguel and Jose embody their teachings and self-mastery. I came home at home with myself and glowing. Thank you.
Where: Teotihuacan, Mexico
When: May 21-25, 2026
Step into the heart of the ancient Toltec world in Teotihuacan, the City of the Gods. Join us for a sacred journey of transformation, guided by the wisdom of the Ruiz family. This is a rare opportunity to walk the path of awareness alongside one of the most beloved spiritual teachers of our time, returning to the place where his own journey began.
Don Miguel Jr., don Jose Ruiz, Aaron Landman, and Karla Ruiz, each offering their unique voice, presence, and teachings will support your personal awakening. Together, they will guide you through powerful ceremonies, reflections, and moments of deep connection, inviting you to release old stories and remember the truth of who you are.
In this experience, don Miguel Ruiz Jr. will share the lessons from his new book, The Mastery of Life: A Toltec Guide to Personal Freedom. It represents the journey, or quest, that we all undertake to find our own personal freedom. He will explain, based on his family’s Toltec Tradition, how the sacred pyramids and plazas of Teotihuacan act as symbolic stops on the transformative path of Toltec Warriors.
Aaron Landman and Karla Ruiz bring a grounded, heart-centered approach to the journey, bridging ancient Toltec wisdom with modern-day integration. Aaron offers depth, clarity, and powerful teachings that help participants move beyond illusion and into personal truth. Karla weaves in the feminine voice of the lineage, inviting reflection, creativity, and emotional connection.
Unlike some forms of shamanism, the Toltec tradition places a special emphasis on unconditional love and personal healing by which we create transformation in ourselves and the world.
This life-changing experience will help you to return to your innate wisdom, and live your life based on truth. The Ruiz family will help you understand that the agreements we make are ultimately about seeing our whole reality through the eyes of truth. The result of practicing these agreements helps you to move into complete acceptance of yourselves just the way you are, and the complete acceptance of everybody else just the way they are. The reward for doing that is your eternal happiness.
The Ruiz Family will teach you how to:
- Gain awareness of how your agreements have created your reality
- Let go of the fear of what you are without your beliefs
- Create a happier and more rewarding story for yourself
- Make New Agreements that are more in line with your true, Authentic Self
- Understanding The Five Agreements as a living practice—not just concepts, but a path of embodiment
- The rare opportunity to learn from don Miguel in the sacred site where his awakening began
- Tools to shift your inner dream, not through effort or control, but through awareness and love
- An energetic transmission that can only come from those who walk their talk, teaching not just with words, but with presence
- Real-life guidance on how to return home to yourself with clarity, compassion, and courage
“Don Jose and Don Miguel Jr. are two of the most authentic humans I’ve ever met. Not only are they incredibly powerful people, but their care and love also shine through. They both set a beautiful example of being authentic. I love them both so much! And the group was such a kind and loving community of people! I left the retreat full of love and re-energized. I can’t wait to go back for NYE! ”

From USA- Many airlines have direct flights from Los Angeles, Houston and New York to Mexico City including AeroMexico, Alaska, Volaris, Horizon, Delta, and United.
More options are available if connecting through another U.S. city.
From Europe- Most commercial airlines link Mexico directly to Europe. It is always worth comparing flight offers from air carriers who can bring you to Mexico City or Cancun via many European hubs, like Frankfurt, Paris, Amsterdam, Madrid…..the flight duration from those cities is always approx. 11 hours (+ your connecting flight from home, if you do not board directly at the mentioned airports)
From Australia or New Zealand- Fly from either Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, or Auckland(NZ) direct to Los Angeles. Delta, Qantas, United, and V Australia offer non-stop air service from Australia to Los Angeles. Air New Zealand offers a one-stop air service from Australia and non-stop air service from Auckland to Los Angeles. Hawaiian Airlines and Air Tahiti Nui offer one- or two-stop air service to Los Angeles from Australia and New Zealand.
For your departure, airlines request to do the check-in 3hrs prior to the departure of international flights, and it takes one hour to get from the hotel to the airport during regular business hours. We ask you to schedule your flight back home after 2 PM so that we can leave the hotel at approx 10 AM.
An earlier flight will mean an extra cost for transportation to the airport. If you cannot use group transportation, please indicate your situation on the trip registration. One week before the event, we will send out a final transport list with more details.

Daily Itinerary
We spend three full days immersed in the sacred site, exploring different areas each day through mindful walking and deep connection with the land. While there’s no intense hiking involved, we do climb both the Pyramid of Quetzalcoatl and the Pyramid of the Moon. One area, known as “the plazas,” includes navigating sets of steps, about 10–15 at a time. On average, we walk about 5 miles each day. For those who wish to conserve their energy for the inner journey, transportation is available to and from the pyramid complex.
Around 1 PM, we return for a nourishing lunch, or you can visit a nearby museum on your own. After a period of rest and integration, we gather again in the early evening for a two-hour class, followed by dinner shared in good company.
You may notice that we don’t publish a fixed schedule for this journey. This is intentional. Our guides listen to Spirit, allowing the energy of the group and the sacred land to lead the way. The experience unfolds in divine timing, shaped by presence, not prediction. We invite you to release the need for certainty, the “voice of knowledge”, and trust the magic of the moment. Rest assured, a beautiful and transformative path awaits you.
Suggested Reading
To help you prepare for this retreat and have a better understanding of the teachings of the Ruiz family, we recommend reading the following books:
- Beyond Fear. This book explains some terminologies that the Ruiz Family uses on the Teotihuacan retreats. It will give you a better understanding of the process you will experience.
- The Fifth Agreement. The core of all the teachings of the Ruiz Family.
- The Mastery of Life. Great explanation of how the sacred pyramids and plazas of Teotihuacan act as symbolic stops on the transformative path of Toltec Warriors.

Wow, Teotihuacan was an amazing experience. From beginning to end the love and authenticity from the Ruiz family is palpable. I found unconditional love for myself and others and in the process discovered heaven on earth. I could not speak more highly of this program. It was fun, empowering, and life-altering. Exploring the pyramids, experiencing the energy of Teotihuacan, conversations with Don Miguel Jr. and Don Jose, the serenity of the dreaming house, great food, time spent with a community filled with love, and of course, the fantastic fiesta are only a partial list of things enjoyed about this program. If you ever get the opportunity to attend any of the Ruiz family events, do it. Million thanks to Don Miguel, Don Miguel Jr., Don Jose, Karla and of course Leo.” Much love,
Wil Saavedra
