You are an artist whether you believe it or not.
…and that art is the experience of your life.
The question is:
Are you truly living a life you love?
Life as Art is a 4-week live experience to see, listen, express, and participate more consciously in the creation of your life.

What is Life as Art?
We tend to think art lives in a museum or a concert hall. That we are spectators and admirers of someone who is fully immersed in what they love to do. And sometimes, while we are busy admiring and feeling inspired by what someone else has created, we forget that we also have a canvas of our own.
What if we can look at art in a different way? What if we could experience art in every choice we make – as a way of living?
Just like a painter can make choices about color or brush type, or a musician can choose chords and melody, we can make choices about what and how we express ourselves. We can follow inspiration and transform daily challenges into simple triumphs.
Life as Art is an invitation to look at the canvas of your life and notice who has been holding the brush. Is it an underlying fear? An old agreement? The need to belong? Maybe trying to become the person you think you’re supposed to be? By listening to your own voice beneath all the noise you start to see more clearly and build an unshakable trust.
Who am I when I stop performing and allow myself to be fully seen?
How it works
4 weeks. 4 live gatherings. One question at the center of it all: What beliefs and agreements are guiding my choices?
Life as Art begins Saturday, September 12, 2026.
Each week, a new exploration opens with a short audio teaching and a question to begin noticing in your own life.
Then we’ll gather live with Karla + Aaron for a 90-minute session of Toltec Wisdom, conversation, reflection, and creative exploration.
After the gathering, you’ll take one simple Play for the Week into your life.
And somewhere in the middle, we’ll check in.
Your experience includes:

4 live 90-minute online gatherings with Karla + Aaron
• 4 short audio teachings
• Life as Art: Field Notes
• A new Play for the Week after each gathering
• Midweek check-in emails
• The 30-Day Life Experiment
• Recordings of all live gatherings
• One year of program access
Life as Art is for you if…
You’ve done a lot of inner work, but still notice yourself repeating some of the same patterns.
You’re good at reading the room, adapting, and being who the moment seems to need.
You sometimes know what you want—and immediately begin explaining why it doesn’t make sense.
You find yourself looking outside of yourself for confirmation that you’re making the right choice.
You have things you want to say, create, try, or explore, but keep waiting to feel more ready.
You edit yourself before anyone else has the chance to respond.
You’ve become very good at being responsible, productive, or useful—and you’re craving more curiosity and play.
You don’t necessarily want to change your entire life but want to feel more present in the life you’re living.
Maybe you want more of yourself in it.
More honesty.
More expression.
More Self-Trust.
More confidence.
More inspiration.
More passion.
More room to experiment.

🎧 Live Life Intentionally

Guided by Karla Ruiz + Aaron Landman
Life as Art brings together our shared roots in Toltec wisdom and two different voices, perspectives, and ways of seeing. We’ll teach, ask questions, share our own stories, and we’ll invite you to explore what is true for you.
Karla is a Toltec guide, teacher, and facilitator whose work explores self-trust, authentic expression, and the agreements that shape the way we see ourselves. As a member of the Ruiz family she grew up close to the Toltec teachings ,and now brings them into her own work through a deeply personal, curious, and experiential lens. Her work invites people to question old agreements, listen to themselves more honestly, and create lives with more awareness, freedom, and room to be fully themselves.
Aaron is a Toltec teacher with over 20 years of experience, who serves as a clear reflection for those ready to see themselves more honestly – to notice the resistance that keeps them from stepping forward, and to discover the freedom that comes from moving beyond it, by exploring your own freedom, creativity, and clarity.
The Life as Art Process
Week 1 — See
The Life You Are Already Creating
We begin by looking at the canvas. Taking note of how and what we are creating. What is driving us? What is our goal? What are we looking to achieve? What is our motivation?
Week 2 — Listen
The Artist’s Voice
Am I listening to a muse, to life, to the creativity around me, or am I listening to my inner judge and critic?
Week 3 — Express
Let Yourself Be Seen
Am I creating from authentic expression or a reaction?
Week 4 — Create
Life as Art
You don’t need to know what the finished piece will look like to make the next choice.
This week, we explore intent, play, curiosity, and experimentation.
What participants are saying
Aaron & Karla, Thank you for sharing this wonderful work of Art. You are both amazing facilitators.
“Awaken Your Spirit” with Karla and Aaron was magical and enlightening. Their light felt like a beautiful hug the entirety of our online sessions. Witnessing myself and fellow participants transform during the online Zooms was special to witness. I feel this journey is only the beginning of many more beautiful experiences.
I was mesmerized with Karla’s Love and her beautiful spirit!!! and enjoyed Aaron wisdom.
FAQs
Do I need to be creative or artistic?
No. Life as Art is not an art class, and you don’t need to know how to paint, draw, write, sing, or make anything “beautiful.” We’re exploring creativity as the act of creating. The creative experiences are invitations to notice and explore. There is no artistic skill required and nothing will be graded or judged.
Do I need to know anything about Toltec wisdom?
No. Life as Art is rooted in Toltec wisdom, but you don’t need to have read The Four Agreements or studied the Toltec teachings before joining. We’ll introduce the ideas we explore along the way. If you’ve studied Toltec wisdom for years, you’ll have an opportunity to look at familiar teachings through a different lens.
What if I can’t attend the live gatherings?
All four live gatherings will be recorded and added to the program. You can watch the recording and move through the creative experiences in your own time. We encourage you to join live when you can.
How much time should I plan for each week?
The live gathering is 90 minutes long. Before we meet, you’ll receive a short 8–12 minute audio teaching. Your Play for the Week is designed to live inside your everyday life. There is no daily curriculum to keep up with.
What will I need for the creative experiences?
Nothing fancy. Paper and something to write or make marks with will be enough for most gatherings. Sometimes you may be invited to use something already nearby—a photograph, song, object, or your phone. We’ll let you know if there’s anything specific to bring.
Is Life as Art therapy or coaching?
No. Life as Art is an educational and experiential program rooted in Toltec wisdom, awareness, reflection, and creative exploration. It is not therapy, mental health treatment, or a substitute for professional care.
How long will I be able to access the teachings?
You’ll have access to Life as Art and the live gathering recordings for one year.
What is the refund policy?
You may request a refund within 7 days of your purchase, as long as your request is made before the first live gathering on September 13. After that, registration is non-refundable. To request a refund, contact ruizprograms@miguelruiz.com
