Event Description: This April, prepare to step into the labyrinth with don Miguel Ruiz Jr., to witness your creation and begin your 40 days of internal discovery. 40 Days in the Desert will be a 5 day all inclusive retreat in Joshua Tree California. Here we will create a space to truly see and hear our authentic self in ways you may have never imagined. We will surround ourselves in loving waves of sound, in an evening toning concert with Aleya that will ignite and rekindle the inner flame of your soul. Also included in the all inclusive trip package is a private sound therapy session in the Gong Chair with Guy Douglas, an experience you truly do not want to miss.
As a special treat don Miguel Ruiz Sr. will be joining us to teach and share on Easter Sunday. Join us and submerse yourself into a dream of unconditional love, truth, gratitude and authenticity.
The retreat location includes: Meditation paths, Labyrinth, Medicine Wheel, and Tai Chi circles, An outdoor amphitheater with earthen stage, lights and fire pit for outdoor activities and wonderful evenings under the stars.
Once the 5 day retreat is complete you will return home to embark upon your own journey, by beginning a 40 day online course that is included in the cost of the retreat. You do not have to participate in the online course if you choose not to; it is however recommended that you do the entire course for the full personal value of this journey.
Please be aware that the basic local option does not include food, lodging, transportation or a session in the Gong Chair.

All pricing listed here is double occupancy, We can match you with a roomate.
Are you a local resident that would like to attend this retreat and you do not require lodging? We have two options for you. You can come for all the teachings and meals or just for teachings and eat offsite. When you register you will be able to choose which option works best for you.

Local- Teaching Only- $500.00
Local - Teaching and Meals- $750.00
The All Inclusive pricing below includes your food, lodging, transportation to and from the airport and all teachings and exercises while in attendance at the event.
All Inclusive - Early Bird Price until March 1st 2011: $1,195.00
All Inclusive - Standard Price March 1st - April 1st 2011 : $1,295.00
All Inclusive - Late Sign up Price April 1st - April 20th 2011: $1,395.00
A private room fee is an additional $500.00
If you register now, a $300.00 deposit will secure your placement in this event; you can then log back on and make payments of any amount at your leisure.
Travel:
The airport you will be flying into will be the Palm Springs Airport. If you do not have your travel information at this time, you can always log back on to this site and enter it later to update your registration info.
Tent camping is available and can be arranged by contacting Joshua Tree directly.

The cost for extra nights is $45 per night per person.

Cancellation Policy:
Please be advised that your deposit is non-refundable. However it is transferable to some of the events that involve don Miguel Ruiz, please inquire if you are curious which events can have deposits transferred between them. Your balance is refundable up to 30 days prior to the start date of any event. If you cancel closer than 30 days to the event start date you will not receive a refund.
