The Academy of Awareness is going to take your attention and focus it on various subjects each month. Some of these subjects will be basic and some will be more advanced. As you may have already experienced with don Miguel’s books, you can go back and re-read them many times and discover entirely new concepts that you did not even grasp when you first read the book. You may not have even realized that you did not grasp them as you read the book.
The Academy of Awareness is no different, we highly recommend going back periodically and reviewing past archived videos and insights to grasp concepts you may not have been ready for the first time around.
RuizTV:
This is a space where you will be able to view newly produced monthly videos that will be posted on the first of each month. There are six channels in Ruiz Tv and each channel contains six lessons. Each month a new lesson is added to each channel and a lesson drops off. Each new video will also have a corresponding written lesson that will be posted directly below it.
The Academy of Awareness is about changing your world, about making new agreements that are not based in suffering, and about being aware of the stories you are creating. Before viewing each new video take some time to relax breath and become fully present before viewing them. It is also highly recommended that you view the videos placed here in full screen, if your computer has the capability to do so. To view the video in full screen simply click the small button on the lower right hand side of the media player.
You can use your private personal journal to keep an easy record of your thoughts that arise before, during, and after you view the lesson. Each video lesson also has a corresponding area in the forum where you can communicate and interact with other Academy members about the lesson.
Homework:
Each month a homework assignment is released. Each assignment is unique and serves a different purpose. These assignments are a way for you to investigate in your life what is working for you and what is not. They will assist you in your personal transformation by challenging you to step forward and choose where you want to be and where you are going. These assignments bring this work into your home, into your life and into your dream.
Classes:
This area of the Academy will provide you with a way to connect live with Miguel each month. Once a month in the Academy, there is a live class and chat session to join. You can also view past Classes in the Archive. These live classes are invaluable, not only do they provide you with a clear connection to the Ruiz Family but they are inspiring and engaging.
Worksheets:
Each month you are provided with a new worksheet. They are similar to a madlib, a game. Playing is part of life and this work is also like playing. When we are able to view this work through the eyes of a child and play it becomes much harder to judge ourselves. We enjoy the process so much more. We also make faster work of things standing in our way.
The worksheets literally teach you to re-train your brain. The worksheets teach you to begin using your word in the most powerful way, full of your intent. You are powerful, but you may not fully realize how powerful you are. These worksheets allow you to take your personal stories and then tell them from a new light. They assist you to see things from a new perspective, to tell a new story about…. you.
Share Areas: (Inspiration, Intent and Gratitude) Each one of us is unique and learns in a completely different way. The Academy is set up with purpose in a specific way to reduce engaging your knowledge and debate between each other but to provide areas like the share boards to interact in a simple and beautiful expression. These boards are entitled: Inspiration, Intent and Gratitude. Don Miguel feels that these three areas are essential in your growth and respect for yourself and each other. By utilizing these boards daily you begin to focus your attention on the areas of your life you wish to experience and enhance.
Forums: The Forums area is a place where you can interact with other participants within the Academy. While we all are striving to change our own world it can be a great support to interact with others during this process. Be aware that each individual has a unique dream and a unique way of dreaming. What may be truth for you may not be truth for someone else and what is truth for them may seem completely untrue for you. Please just do your best to enjoy this interaction while not taking it personally or making assumptions, and continue to be impeccable with your word. The Forums are not about being right or being wrong but are simply a resource for you to gain awareness.
Add a Group:
This area is for you to be able to add groups you are working with or creating so that others can find you. It is a way to add your group to a directory available to everyone on Miguel Ruiz .com to connect and share in person.
Invite Friends:
This is a great way to encourage others you know to join the Academy and share this journey with you. By using this tool you can quickly and easily invite multiple friends using your membership code. It is easy, quick and a gift for all those that receive it.

This area has updates and info for you. It contains upcoming events, Interviews and Press, General Academy info, Event Discounts and Messages from the Ruiz Family for you.
Logout:
This is the button you will use to logout every time you are leaving the Academy.
My Journal:
This is your private online journal. This is where you can track your thoughts and feelings as you move through the Academy. Insights and inspirations can be recorded for later review. As you move through the site you will see multiple ways to add journal entries. You can also sort your journal so that you can view entries from each area of the Academy.
My Account:
Your account area is where you can change your password. Update your member or contact information. You can also link your account to different social media sites.

The Frequently Asked Questions area is full of valuable information and recourses. If you are having technical difficulties this area may provide you with the answers you seek.
My Progress
The My Progress area is a place where you can keep track of what you have completed or have yet to complete within the Academy. The My Progress area also works in conjunction with your journal to give you easy review of your thoughts about each lesson.
