"The is a great follow up to the Four Agreements, but also
a wonderful work on Toltec Wisdom on it's own."

Are you using knowledge, or is knowledge using you?

We have all made agreements about how we choose to live our lives and what we believe our personal truths are. But what we may not realize is that each one of these agreements represents an attachment, a limiting filter on who we think we are, and what the future could hold. We call these attachments “knowledge” without ever questioning if that knowledge is necessarily true for us.

The Five Levels of Attachment provides a guide to understanding how we have developed our belief structures and how to go about re-evaluating or even severing these harmful attachments.

If you are looking through life and translating it as it goes along, you will miss out on living it.

Your Knowledge has to become a tool that you will use to guide you through life but that can also be put aside, do not let knowledge translate everything you experience.

In this class, Ruiz defines each of the Five Levels of Attachment and invites us to reclaim our true freedom by becoming aware of our belief structures, realizing that they exist only through our agreements:

Level 1: The Authentic Self.
Level 2: Preference.
Level 3: Identity.
Level 4: Internalization.
Level 5: Fanaticism.

Building on the principles found in his bestselling book The Five Levels of Attachment, don Miguel Ruiz Jr., will teach you to:

Become aware of how you confuse “who you are” with “what you know”
Gain awareness of how your attachments have created your reality
Stop creating your identity based on the opinions and judgments of others around you
Let go of the fear of what you are without your beliefs
Make new Agreements that are more in line with your true Authentic Self

“Love is accepting ourselves just the way we are, with all of our flaws and our ever-changing belief system. You are nothing else but who you are. You are not the person you were a year ago. You are not the person you will be in a year. You aren’t ever the person you think you are. You simply are, and that must be enough.”

- don Miguel Ruiz Jr.

About the Ruiz's

The Ruiz family are world wide teachers of the the Toltec Wisdom, which has passed through generations of their family. Don Jose and Dona Sarita, as well as his grandfather, Don Leonardo, all believed that Miguel would continue their legacy in the centuries old Toltec tradition. Instead Don Miguel attended medical school, and became a surgeon.

For several years he practiced medicine with his brothers, and he realized that what needed to be healed was not only the physical brain, but the human mind as well.

A near fatal car accident changed the direction of Don Miguel’s life. He experienced himself as pure awareness outside of the constraints of his physical body. He realized that the Toltec wisdom of his family contained all of the tools needed to change the human mind. Don Miguel promptly returned to his mother to finish his training and he became a Shaman.

He went on to write "The Four Agreements" which introduced Toltec Wisdom to millions. Transited into over 31 languages, and one of the best-selling self-help book of the 20th Century, his work has changed the lives of millions with it's simple but profound truths.

Today, Miguel is a much sought after teacher! Featured on Oprah, as well as numerous other programs , he continues his work as a shaman and spiritual teacher along with his sons, do Miguel Ruiz Jr. and Jose Ruiz, who have also wrote books, and share the Toltec wisdom taught to them by their father, and grandmother.
